we had sleeping bags and zipped them together, but have just changed over to duvets one to lie on and one to cover us, easier to wash quilt covers

We have a big double (king-size actually) sleeping bag - got it when we got the Pathfinder last year, and it's also great for the caravan as it makes bed-making easier (I'd hate to have to faff with a sheet every night).  But I do like the suggestion of 2 duvets - the problem with sleeping bags is washing them - duvets would solve that problem!  Hmmmm - Scampi goes away to think .....
