Thule roof box and bars for me as the boot in my focus can't cope with all the kit - works like a charm now and removes the headache of identifying which item(s) to leave behind in the hope you may not need them - eg last weekend left EHU and heater and replaced with sun tan lotion and more wine!?!?!

Hi thanks for all the advice but i seem to be still struggling as ive been to many of the above links in this thread and cant seem to find the correct model.

Is this a new shape focus?  You should ask ford themselves, I had a 5 door hatchback and paid around 70 quid for the bars from a main dealer (this worked out cheaper than a similar setup from halfords with bars+footpack+locks).
