I got a mail saying I had been refunded, and another saying it had been despatched. Mine was also showing on EBay as won and awaiting payment. I have not contacted the seller, I have just deleted it from my "won items" list. If it arrives he can whistle for his money, I paid once and he cancelled the sale, his problem if he does not know what he is doing.

I have also left negative feedback.

GEEZ, thats tough...A seller makes a genuine mistake, apologises and refunds, Even though you knew it was a mistake you were happy to take advantage but you still Neg them ! ! Hop on to my BB list....

Exactly what would happen if you made a bid in error then failed to honour the bid price.

No its not, if you genuinely made an error and then told the seller and he hit you with a strike would you be upset? or would you say that as you told him it was genuine mistake he should have let you off?

You were happy to take advantage of a genuine mistake and then penalise the seller when they realised,

Give them a chance - they have probably sold thousands of them at that price.

If you all want one, why not contact him for a cost for a bulk order.

And folk wonder why there's a credit crunch?

Sorry, it just gets right on my goat when someone profits from others bargains.

My own personal opinion here but I really don't see the problem with someone selling these on to finance their own holiday this year?

The credit crunch was caused by incompetent (could say far worse) Bankers..... not by the "guy in the street" simply selling on for a profit.

Thats just plain Capitalism/ entrepenurialism...... nothing wrong with that!

However.....buying 10 of them (even separately) may cause the customs people to take an interest.

thanks for the support finnboy, i dont think i would have bought 10 spur of the moment thought but it would have been easy money, ive seen people selling branded products from poundland for £3.00 ????? now thats cheeky lol
