We have had one for a year, it's been on every trip & never been out of a bag. haven't found a need for it yet but we have the front ext on the monty to cook under/in
We use them to mark our territory!! -us Brits like our little kingdoms!! This year we were right by a loo block which was handy but also meant that everyone walked right past our caravan windows etc to get to them-one guy even trailed his hand along the side of our caravan as he walked!! So a couple of well place windbreaks soon sorted it!! We tend to make a bit of a 'garden'- the rotary line goes in there,as does the bbq, surfboards etc and my sons tent. I suppose that way, everyone knows which equipment belongs to who!!

We got gelert ones to match the tent when we bought it, used them first time out and spent most time rearranging them to try and get them to stay upright. Now we don't bother!!
I am not the worlds greatest lover of windbreaks, but I also use a extension on my Montana 4, and find a windreak ideal to shelter the stove, and give the dog some privacy from children, wanting to play.........
We always take it and hardly ever use it, we tried to hemm our 18 month son in with it last time, but it took him about 3 seconds to figure out how to move it.
I ordered one of these a week or so ago and it arrived yesterday. It's lovely - a really thick, strong, canvas-like fabric, miles nicer than my stripey one. The website shows that the bottoms of the wooden poles are reinforced with metal spikes but it tuns out that the tops are reinforced too. Not used it yet, but really happy with it.
