Hi. I have the same dongle but I have had problems with it recently when i connect it it says no device found although the software is there as are the drivers.I am using Windows 7 when I first installed the software the dongle worked just fine and I was prompted by Vodafone to do an update and thats when my problems started. This morning I put the dongle into another laptop using Vista that already had the software on it and it worked just fine.I dont know if it`s Windows 7 or what but out of curiousity I bought another dongle which is the new version and that would also not work.Strange.Cheers.Alex
P.S I had keyboard problems with my 1st attempt now I have put another keyboard there instead
This is a common issue with vodafone, its the mobile connect software that is the problem, google how to set up vodafone mobile broadband as dial up connection, and you then simply use a dial up connection instead of the rubbish vodafone software, it also connects much faster and every time, (subject to signal), we used these at work and every egnineer had the same issue at various times, its so random which is more annoying, but using it via a dial up works everytime. We have now just moved to BT for our mobiles and mobile broadband, and that has proved much better for speed and getting a signal than the vodafone ones.
I use 3 with their Mi-Fi you can connect up to 5 devices with it. I found the coverage is excellent and 1Gb per month more than adequate. You can get a year for about £65.
