Er.... the man has still not given a price....!!! No point in this thread if you cant buy it.! just what is the point asking us questions for help or advise... if you wont give any of us an idea of cost in full when we ask you.... nuff said just time waisting now..!

The guys just asking for opinions and feedback, if you think he's wasting your time don't answer him.

I for one think its a good idea but with so many things there are pro's and con's, bit like buying a tent.

Yes your right he did..! you cant give an opinion without asking a few questions, aint that feedback ?so asking a price has a lot to do with everything about it.. unless you buy blind wich i dought, Most people would look at a price first then see if its worth the asking price, more people would want if it was cheap enough, who will look at it if the price is too high, even if they really needed it?  A bit like buying a tent your right again..

We are looking to manufacture the autobox in the Uk ...so that mean we can give better prices for all.

I am awaiting some manufacturing cost to be confirmed which are dependant on some minor design changes.

But I do promise to give the price early January 2005.

Hope you will understand

flooi, on your web site posted 17/12/04 it states that manufacture in italy, now on the 21/12/04 looking to manufacture in the uk, is this product availible else where in the world

A "BRAAI" = bbq.

Takes me back - worked in SA a few years ago for an insurance company.  Went to Kruger one weekend in the company minibus.  Stolen / recovered VW camper.  They tarted it up and stuck a Porsche lump in the back.... Would do about 110 flat out, and about 20 to the gallon !

The picture of the filling station reminded me also - you had Shell fuel cards with the company cars.  Pull into any fuel station and they'd fill it up for you without you leaving the car.  One of the blokes at work was amused that he was billed for 60 litres at every top up, but it was only a 55 litre tank....

By the way, there's no truth to the rumour that if you buy a quarter of licquorice allsorts, you get them in two separate bags.....

It is available in Italy, South Africa & soon it will be available in Australia, USA, UK, Germany and Netherlands. The rest will follow soon.......

We have only started to bring the product to the UK, but as soon as people see it on the road with our phone no. on it, the phone will start to ring. (This happened this summer in Italy, with great success!)

This is why we are looking at manufacture it in the UK as well as Italy to support the demand of Europe. We wanted to expand slowly in the European market but everything has just taken off, the demand is growing and we are concerned that this demand will outstrip supply! With some good manufacturing contacts in the UK we expect to supply the UK demand and with some over manufacturing with some predicted spare capacity, to ship to the areas where demand is outstripping supply.

So please watch this space and I will try to keep the post up to date with the progress.

As far as costing is concerned, we are trying to be as competitive as possible, but as I have said before, we are awaiting some new costs for some modifications which we hope will enhance the functional aspects of the box while enhancing the aesthetics for the UK market.

Please feel free to further comment.

Thanks for your valued feedback.

Hi Flooi,

1998 and 1999.

First time Kruger, second pilansberg (excuse spelling !).

Worked in Braamfontien, stayed in Roseburg (I think, from memory ! - where the Park Hyatt was, anyway).

Next assignment after Jo'berg was Singapore - talk about one extreme to the other !
