When spec'ing my trailer, I knew I needed it to be compact in terms of length and width of the trailer in order to fit into the garage.
Hence I opted for extension sides in order to double the 1150s original capacity instead of getting the 1250s.
However, I forgot to take its overall height with the ABS lid into consideration until I towed the new trailer back home, and it dawned on me that it might be too tall for the garage opening!
To my relief, I had less than 5cm to spare!

Ive had no problems with mine, sure its no ifor Williams but it didn't cost ifor williams money. As for the small wheels big ones are better but if the small ones are dodgy they wouldnt sell them and for 50quid BARGAIN
where did you get your material to make the small storage unit on front of your trailer?

What is wrong with 8" wheels, if they were no good or dangerous they wouldn't be allowed to use them would they? I just don't understand all the fuss about having bigger wheels you can't or your not meant to go over 60mph I know people do I have seen the dangerous gits on the road. Can anyone explain the need of bigger wheels.
I'm not entirely sure tentfluff - just seems to be the general consensus that 8" wheels are so small and may get hot quicker, and the bearings may take more of a bashing than bigger wheels.
As I said, I was looking for bigger wheels, but at £50 for a trailer I can't not snap it up.
I'm more than happy to tow with 8" wheels but I've heard many people say they wouldn't and I'm not entirely sure why - they're manufactured, there are thousands about and very rarely do you hear of problems.
Its a crock the 8" wheels are fine no trailer is designed to go at 530000 mph and your a fool if you do, as it will seriously unbalance your vehicle under emergency braking particualy in the wet.so if towed sensibly they are no problem at all the tyres are rated to 80 andshould be fine
