Aaaah that will be why my beloved microplane did that last weekend!!! I loved my microplane, ideal for garlic!

Also, Aldi do salt and pepper grinders. They are plastic and contain the salt and pepper already. They have a lid on the bottom so the salt and pepper doesn't leak. They are on a deal at the minute, with other salt etc. They are great for grinding!! Sarah
