My thoughts too, Loubylou, but fortunately, I can take the baseplate, non slip mat, and wind shield from our existing one, so should be ok.
(The wind shield traps under the flat baseplate, and the weight of the stove should keep it all in place, as it does now... hopefully!





... Still need to find time to check some dims, before deciding whether to go for it or not.

Hmmm I suppose my hi gear one could do the same.
I had wondered if I'd missed something off it, that it relies in the weight of the stove to hold it in place.

Are all the side bits heavy? On my wire one the are very heavy, if I got the outwell easy up- would the side parts still be heavy?

IMHO, based on personal experience, for a concertina type camp kitchen, one should place heavier items on the bottom shelf for stability.

If pattern of loading makes it top heavy, then the risk of it toppling will be higher.

In the past, I put 2 x 5L water containers at the bottom for added stability, plus other heavier food items like tins, potato, onions etc...:
