Watching both vids, the new system looks even better than the old design :)

Blimey... That was quick!

Ordered it at 19:30 Weds night. Despatched yesterday. Arrived before noon today!

Big shout out for Roofbox.co.uk!

Looks a bit small on my roof, compared to the massive Thule (Atlantis 900) I borrowed at the weekend, but the whole reason I bought this one was to fit in my shed, so it is what it is.
Would have loved longer and wider, but if you ain't got practical storage!

First impressions rate somewhere between very good and 5*it hot!

Took 20mins to fit first time, BUT ONLY BECAUSE... I had to centralise it, (pencil) mark the (box) feet onto my bars, then slide the box out of the way, while I cut my bar rubbers. (When I slid the box back into place, my rubbers moved a bit, so I may have to consider removing them completely. Not sure how that affects noise though, so won't be doing anything hasty... for info, I'm planning on leaving bars on all the time).

This box seems a little less flimsy than the Thule I borrowed. Not sure if that is the material, or simply due to the fact that it is more compact in size, therefore more rigid?

I love the quick-fix system... I suspect, disregarding any matters concerning my roof bar rubbers, of course, that in future, I will lift, plonk on to bars, slide into place, open up and clamp down in well under a minute. And don't forget, my roof rails are 1.8m off the floor!

Also lovin' the central locking system. Everything clicks into place, and only then does the key spin round to enable you to remove it. Superb!

Opens from both sides, of course, and opens nice and wide too. A bonus on both counts, I'd say.

Not having a garage, I opted for the alternative free gift from Roofbox.co, namely 3 straps... nearly missed them in the bottom of the (cardboard) box, as there was another 3 already inside the roof box. I guess these come with the box anyway, supplied by Kamei? Can't grumble at that! :-)

It's 99% storage room inside. Virtually nothing in there, shape-wise or fitting/fixing-wise using up valuable space.

If I had to find a negative... and I'm not certain it is, at this early stage... is that the base is a lot shallower than the lid. I suppose if everything is bagged up, that's fine, but if I get in the habit of throwing in small items willy-nilly, in one great pile, they could start falling straight out again before I can cover them with the lid.
Other than my borrow last weekend, this is my first experience of roofboxes, so I suppose I need to find a knack, when it comes to loading practically and safely.

All in all, absolutely delighted with the product, the service, and as ever, all the titbits I've picked up on these forums (Been looking for a few months now, so have read everything with "Roofbox" in the title over the last 2 years, using the search option).

This is my new Kamei Corvara 390 (Silver) on my new (bought 9 days ago) Thule Wing Bars, on a Kia Sedona...

...and this is me, dancing a little jig of delight...
