Mischiefsmum,
There are special groundsheet pegs, affectionately known as the mushroom pegs, as can be seen in the link in your last post.
They are kinder to bare feet than hook pegs.
The U pegs as seen in your link are for guys for the tent. However, I have not used these type of pegs before, therefore I cannot about their usefulness.
I prefer to use 9in angled steel pegs such as these, along with Deltas for the tent canvas; plus hook pegs to secure the ZIP of the tent in place:

Many thanks DK, for your response(s)... and apologies to Mischiefsmum for sending your thread a little off topic!
DK, I appreciate your comments.
With regards to the yellow delta's, I pull out as you do, but usually by using a claw hammer rather than a peg puller. More habit than anything else now, in all honesty.
When you say you can push your hook into the ground, that does of course require fairly soft ground. Notably, the hook of your puller does appear to be a lower profile with a wider angle, which seems to be more in line with my standard length puller, as opposed to the full "U" shape of my (Delta) long reach puller (Which seems to be what Bob has too?)
From your description re the Delta Rocks, I get the impression the whole of the horizontal section remains above ground, thus the T bar stay's an inch or so clear of the ground. That makes perfect sense, seems to be the sensible approach, and does of course mean that any puller hook can simply slide onto the T part of the T bar. I, however, being a complete numpty, have got into the (bad?) habit of literally burying the complete blade-like horizontal section. Reasons being no chance of stubbing a toe and/or standing on it, and no chance of the "blade" spinning around on the axis of the T Bar. This of course means my T bar is almost buried, with the crossbar tight to the ground. As I'm not in the habit of wandering around stubbing my toes on pegs, and tighten my lines enough to avoid any spinning pegs, maybe I should lighten up a little, and leave the main (horizontal) section of the Delta rock (and thus importantly the crossbar of the peg itself) clear of the ground, (Or just bury the "blade" 10mm or so, to avoid any possible spinning?) and ultimately be easily accessible to (any) peg puller!
Sometimes, my own OTTness can be more of a hindrance than an advantage!
