Just want to say thanks to all who offered help and advice regarding the leisure battery question.
My "new" 'van is now established on site at Scole, with a new battery installed, and I'm happy to report that everything works as it should, with the 'van itself being in exceptional condition for its age. A few very minor blemishes of course, but overall it's clean, dry, damp free, and the internal fittings and upholstery look almost new. It's obviously been well cared for during its life.
Just spent two weeks on site, in fantastic weather, and I'll be going back down to Scole again in around two weeks, to do some touring, and a day of aviation photography, when a friend will be flying in a Buchon, a Spanish built WW2 Messerschmitt 109G.
