I hear what you're saying Erectedatlast..... it is a danger with eBay. Ultimately I suppose I do like the low level anarchy of eBay so I'm not sure whether I'd welcome more regulation. I think and resourceful 12 to 18yr old could get hold of a dangerous knife without too much trouble with or without eBay....

Anyway I'd be interested to see what you bought and who from... any chance of the eBay info?

Hi Johnny1640

I was lucky as there was only one bid on it and I waited until the very last 10sec's and bid £1-55 with £1-25 P&P total was only £2-80. I call that a bargain as they are going for a lot more just now but if you wait the price will come down as we are going into winter now and that makes things harder to sell. The quality seems very good and the weight of it makes it feel like its well made. I think this would be a great Wild Camping item.

Regards

 Steve.

That rambo knife has a hollow tang.. = not very strong its a toy trying to look tough. If you want a knife of that calibre get one with a tang that goes right through to the end.. expect to pay a lot more for a real knife, you get what you pay for..

It  has a hollow handle which holds a compass, fishing line, hook and weight, matches and a simple sewing kit. These are all contained

My Ova Half doesn't go anywhere without his leatherman Juice S2.

He got so fed up of me using his leathermanhe got me my own.

it has knife, sissors, plyers, philips head, 3 diffrent sized flat headsand a can/bottle opener.

He's never needed anything else, well worth the money.

I cristend mine by putting the old orange indicator lights on my newly bought moded renault5 whilst camping last weekend.

whats a tang

TANG: The section of the blade that extends rearward and is contained within the knife handle. The folding knife tang is quite short and forms the hinging point. A fixed blade knife tang may take a wide range of shapes from full width to extremely slender.
