We got ours from Aldi and they are OK - like mst towels they probably need a couple of good washes before they are at their best.

Do not use fabric conditioner or washing powder with fabric conditioner in it - they don't seem to like the stuff

I am currently changing all my camping towels to microfibre.   Take up a lot less roon and dry quickly.
I have some from Lidl and they are fine.

This summer when my family took the kids away I sent some microfibre towels, and explained to mum about patting rather than rubbing.  Even mum was impressed about how quick it was to get them dry.

The pro-action ones are great - far far better than the aldi ones.

Yes they are. I have a couple - bought from ebay. I use them at home too especially for wrapping wet hair.   Men don't seem to like them though because you have to blot rather than rub yourself dry.

Try a flannel!!

Serious dry yourself with a flannel first, wringing it out when necessary and then use your towel. The towel will then last all week and be dry each time you use it. Best tip I have got from this site! Try it out at home first.

Microfibre are ok but you can't beat a nice big towel to keep you warm!!
