Former (bl**dy) Scout

I'm so pleased you found your keys.  The air would (and has done on the slightest provocation i might add lol) turn blue if i lost my keys.

I too thought "Divine Intervention" when you said you'd found them.  Another thing to remember when you lose something and then find it again "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh" lol

Sometimes i swear He has a sense of humour and is laughing at me....

After this week I want as restful, peaceful and uneventful a camp as possible.

Off topic re missing roof bar keys but this is the weirdest "missing" object story ever!!

My sister was visting my parents house with her 2 young boys. They had eaten their evening meal and everyone had tidied up and the boys been bathed and went off to bed. My sister plugged her son's nintendo ds in to charge and placed onto the dining table in the sitting room. My sister and my Mum & Dad watched tv a while.  At bedtime, my sister thought about unplugging it, when she glanced at it still sitting where she left it charging, as she walked out of the sittingroom, but never bothered. Next morning it had vanished!! completely gone!! We took the whole house to bits, every room, every bin, every drawer, box, newspaper, jacket pocket, wardrobe, .... I mean everywhere and it's never been seen since!

We gave thought that someone had come in early in the morning when my Dad had gone to collect his paper and stolen it but why would someone take a Ds and leave the charger plugged into the wall? why would they not take the 2 mobile phones and digital camera that were sitting en-route to the door? We thought the police would consider us mad! Also my sister was awake and heard my Dad leave & return and would of heard someone come it.But that's how much we had searched and knew it was no where in the house.

I will add that my parents house has had some "weird" things happen in the past (noises, strange sightings etc) but for an actual real item to vanish?? I nol onger put my phone onto that table and my kids don't take their Ds's to visit granny now either.

Strange but true

daughter lost her nintendo sp a few years ago hunted the car out because she knew that was last place she had it not there, went to all the places we'd been not there either ,so we hunted the house out not there about 6 months later I was at my mums and my son came running in with it ,it was in the boot of the car in a hidey hole for a first aid kit she'd put it in a safe place when we went out for the day.kids
