I'd say the 40l would be an ideal - big enough for a few tins of beer as well as the groceries

Were the photo's actual size...?!

Not used the gel packs, do they last longer than standard freezer packs?

SOOOOO.... Are they really the best thing around?! 

We were on our way out to buy a Coleman Xtreme 36qt (5 day) cooler and now you've got me dithering again!!!  Would an Icey-Tek be much better?  I'm not overly happy with the external-to-internal size of the Coleman - is the Icey-Tek much better for this?  I've read some reviews and looked at tonnes of pictures, just wish I could get 'hands on' before parting with my cash but I can't seem to find an actual shop selling them!

PPS: does anyone have any 'in use' pictures of their 25l to share?!?!  Those JUMBO pictures of the 40l are very useful!
