Van just dropped off the new EHU from ebay, now does anyone know if the Sunncamp can have the sockets turned a quarter turn so the plugs are not in a line, with the wires interfering with the next one, hope that makes sense.
Thought I would post a reply as you had that sad blue face next to your post. After a quick search on t'interweb, I would say that it is possible but not advised. There have been posts on here that say even when the plugs are vertical they don't interfere with the other leads ( does that make any sense?) If you do tamper with the plugs / housing you are running the risk of damaging the product, thus making it a waste of time spending the extra for a Sunncamp model, you could have made yourself one or got a cheap one off ebay for a fraction of the price, you have obviously paid the extra because you want to have peace of mind when using electricity so if I was you then I wouldn't risk it.

Can't help you with the first part sorry but that is the cheapest EHU I have seen, I don't know if others have seen them cheaper. Good bargin there
I've been searching online for a 3 socket unit for a while now and this is definitely the cheapest price online. The horizontally set plugs are being sold for £49.99 plus p&p,
I can't make my mind up whether to pay the extra £10 for the horizontally set sockets or just go with the vertical one. I've read that some people have problems using all the plugs and others say they have no problems whatsoever....
Geoff, what do you mean by offset chargers? (sorry if that's a ditzy question)
we were concerned about the way most modern plugs are moulded and thought it might not fit in the socket properly due to the sockets being so close set together.
