We have had the wooden pole beach (Stripey) ones and now have two of the Gelert ones with steel poles and guy ropes, our pros/cons:
Stripey ones need to be bashed in well to stay up in any strongish wind, no good on hardstanding/rocky ground, never had storage problem as have motorhome, and cheap.
Gelert ones, take slightly longer first two or three times to put up, but once up and pegged correctly stay put, fold down to a third or less of the size of the stripey ones, but not cheap.
You can cheat a bit with the ones we have on grass and not to breasy, I had a spare bottom part of pole with one of them in the bag which I use with a hammer to make a hole first then you dont need guy ropes.
