I have seen your posts about using pine cat litter in a bucket as a toilet and was just wondering if the Tesco product you were referring to is called 'Tesco premium wood based cat litter'? As you seem to have tested this system, I would rather follow your advice and get it right first time!

I think thats it. It is in a blue bag and if you feel it they are pellets it's £3.99 a bag if that helps.

 I used the paper cat litter from Asda half the price, and it worked well.

Depends how many wee wees you intend doing. We use about 3/4 of a sandwich bag full each night and there's 2 adults and 1 large child.

We breed cats and now use chick feed for their litter.  You may need to buy a big bag which costs about £18.00 but per use it is the cheapest thing we have found. No smell from the cats, clumps well and best of all it is biodegradable. 

Never used it for us in a bucket though.

If you use pine/paper/chick feed as litter in your bucket, how do you dispose of it? Can it go down a CDP, or do you bag & bin it?

Bag it and bin it or if at festival/rally etc dig a hole and bury it if using bio degradeable bags.
