Hi Folks,

Does anybody out there know the length of the low pressure hose that comes out of the back of a Grillogaz Nouveau Double Burner And Grill?

Luckily I won £50 worth of goods on the recent Easter competition on this website and decided to get the burner and grill.

Not bad for nowt.

I have recently bought a hi gear camp kitchen and want to know if the hose that comes with the burner will be long enough if the unit sits on the top shelf.  2 metres should do it.

I work in the builders merchant industry and manged to get hold of a full 4.5kg calor gas bottle for £7.50 as a staff purchase.  I'm led to believe this was a bargain by all accounts - apparently the rental fee alone for the first bottle can be anything up to £25.

Foolishly, I originally bought a regulator for a camping gaz bottle in error - so if anybody wants one for free, when it turns up (bought it off ebay three days ago) I'll be happy to send it on to someone that can find a use.

Cheers,

Paul

In an attempt to "bump" this post perhaps there is a uniform length of hose on all burners.

If anybody owns a double burner of any brand could you give me an idea as to the length of the hose when it came out of the box?

My double burner with grill came with a 1 metre length of hose and reachs my bottle when it's placed on the top shelf (80 cm high) of my camp kitchen and the bottle placed directly underneath.

I'm sure i have read somewhere that there is a restriction on the length of hose you can use and i think it was in the burners manual. So read that and it may say somewhere.Best to stick with what comes with it tbh always something you can stand the bottle on if it won't quite reach.

you will almost always be supplied with one metre of hose by cooker supplier and should never use more than two metres..

The campingaz cookers all come with the hose and clips as standard.

no other cooker makers do this

Thanks Jimbob,

I'll place the bottle on the lower shelf.
