Most of the new DVB-T USB cards require USB2.0 (it should say on the box). Also, i agree the aerial that comes with the box is useless, I cannot get any reception at home with it but plug in the rooftop aerial and it works perfectly with perfect picture and sound.
I did use a indoor aerial with supposedly amplified signal and whilst i got reception it wasnt particularly good!
I will be looking around for best solution and report back to you!
