Just reserved one and then I saw the wash stand and reserved that and then I saw the kitchen unit with windshield and reserved that aswell!!

Got me handy tent!  Sent the old woman to fetch it this morning whilst I was at work.  She asked, is it heavy?  2.1 kilos was what the website said!  I got a phone call congratulating me on my weight assesment a while later, apparently the 2.1 kilo must have been just the bag!!  After trapsing round town with the tent, a suit from the dry cleaners and our 4 year old I was incredibly popular!!

She even asked a strange man at the kiddies roundabout if he thought the tent was "lightweight?" No not really, was his response!  She then proceeded to tell him she was going to take great delight in wrapping it round "his b*****d head if I can muster up enought strength!!!"

Cant wait to get the tent up for a trial pitch!!.....when my head gets better!!

     Glad you saw the bargain and i hope your head wont be too painful   but thinking about it if the old woman (your words not mine) is so upset you can always get your sleeping bag and sleep in the utility tent as you can have it up in 10 mins lol anyway when she sees how much extra uneeded stuff she will now be able to take camping she might just forgive you

This is a Handy Tent.. but its not the one made by Sunngas, although at the price it'll do.

I've bought one, just need to put it up now..

Has anyone had any problems using these on campsites i.e camping and caravanning club sites etc...??

The one in argos is a pro action branded tent. I zoomed in on the website picture and you can see the logo bottom right next to the door. I nearly ordered it today but was pointed towards Jacksons Sunncamp utility teny for the same price. I'm willing to pay the £6p+p for the sake of having a more recognised brand.

Just to let you know that 'Jacksons of Arley' have no more Sunncamp utility tents. Having ordered one and giving all my details and them accepting my order, I now receive an e-mail telling me that they are out of stock and will not be getting any more.

I'm really pi**ed off now. Why not list the item as out of stock !!!!!!!

The Argos tent has now reverted back to brochure price ie £69.99. I went to PJcamping today and paid £54.99 for an Aztec utility tent plus. I've erected it in the garden and it took about 15 mins to put up and peg out the flysheet and porch, but not the guys. It seems plenty big enough to use as a kitchen, so i'm happy. BTW The flysheet has HH of 4000.

  Looks like it must have been just a sale over bank holiday at argos. keep a watch on argos though online not be long before they have another one.

Put mine up yesterday for the first time since buying it... really pleased. I had previously sent back a sunncamp one, having compared the two, I think the argos one is better.. although there is a cotton version at over a hundred pounds that looks the bees knees.

Excellent value though at £34.99.

We got the Outdoor Revolution through this site.  £40 delivered, can recommend.
