Hi

Was looking online for a good sleeping bag for me and O/H when I came accross the Coleman Pacific Comfort bags. I like the option of having it as 2 singles or 1 double. And like the fact they do not narrow and the feet.
Does anyone have them? Are you happy with them? Should I be looking at something else?

Hope someone can advise

Thanks

I agree the design looks good. I dont like mummy bags which I find to be too restrictive as I like to move around. the only comment I would make is that I cant see what rating they are, It can get a little chilly at night even in the middle of Summer and I would want at least a 300 rating bag.

I camp alot during the year what with Cubs, Scouts and family camping so I have Vango sleeping bags Nitestar and Astals. They do large envelope styles which I prefer although they are not cheap at between £30-£40 dependant upon which one you choose. I also use sleeping bag liners which protect the inside of the sleeping bag and are more easily washed than the sleeping bag itself. These also add to the comfort rating - a bit like having a sheet on a bed as well as a duvet. A sleeping bag is probably high on the list of important things that can make or break your camping experience so I have always gone for Vango's although I am sure others will recommend equivalent slepping bags.

The Coleman comfort range is pretty good and if the airbeds are anything to go by then the sleeping bags should be fine too

Not familiar with the Pacifics but we use two Coleman bags zipped together (Chestnut XL) and find them excellent.

Combined with a Coleman Comfort airbed, it's more comfortable than our bed at home

We have the Coleman Hudson double and it is so cosy and warm.  Because it's cotton it's not "slippery" like the polyester ones.  Our only gripe with it is it's handwash only!  That'll be entertaining.  We'll have to tread it in the bath like treading grapes.  And as for drying it, it'll take at least a fortnight!
