I have been advised to get some Delta pegs. Could somebody please tell me what is different about them from ordinary pegs.?

They are the business for guy ropes, wouldn't think you need 'em for pegging the tent out though.

The design adds to the surface area of the peg in the ground so there is more peg to pullout as opposed to the simple wire pegs which tear the ground if you pull on them. The design is also such that when the guy line pulls on the peg it actually pulls the peg further into the ground before it can pull it out. I like many others have used Deltas for some time and would not camp without them.

Bought some a few weeks ago. They arrived really quick and the people were so helpful selling them to me. Have at last used them and had some strong winds, they were brilliant! Everything good you hear about them is true. They are the bee's knees.

Just diggin this old thread up as I am looking to buy some delta pegs for this year. I seem to remember that there was a code from this website to get discount off the price but I can't find it anymore.....does anyone know where I can find it ir has it been withdrawn?

just had these delivered.Never won anything before and am chuffed to bits about these.When it said nylon pegs thought i had won the crappy yellow ones you can get (still good for free though) but had hell of a shock when i seen it was 10 DELTA PEGS......
these kept my unit stable has hell last yr right in the bloody centre of a field which was near a cliff too.
Our unit never budged,uwaning flapped a bit,but with these i'll have more to go round now.Thanks to the comp i entered here.Thanks again U.K.C.
