I am looking to buy a Waeco combicool CAB40 (30degree below ambient model), have been researching to see the cheapest I can find this for. I had found it on minicoolers.co.uk for £149.99 including delivery, but was too slow to order and it has now been removed from their website, apparently will not be back in until July at the earliest. I was hoping to have it before then. The cheapest I can find elsewhere is worldofcamping.co.uk at £159.99 + delivery. They are also out of stock, just wondered if any of you bargain hunters out there know anywhere thats cheaper.
If they are starting to go out of stock with retailers I think you need to grab one quick and if it costs you and extra tenner then it does. It's probably a supplier problem rather than the retailer choosing not to get more stock.
I'm guessing from the opening posters post you are aware that there are several models with the same model number so the £135 one quoted here is probably not the 30 degree below ambient model.
I agree, Peridot. Our Sibir struggled last year, in France, when the temps soared. We could use a bigger fridge, but the better performance (if only marginally better) of the smaller model has to be a consideration, for us.
Thanks for everyone's responses. I took Piglets advise and picked one up from a local camping shop today. A bit more than on-line prices, but did get a discount as it had been on display. Definately worthwhile getting the 30 degree model, as some of the tents we went in today were roasting, and we'll be using it in France.
