After all the reviews over Aspen 4T, I am trying to find a stockist in shropshire without success. The two that they advertise in Shropshire is a mistake - anybody help?
------------- Now ...............this...........is..........the..............life
I went to Winchester Garden Machinery in Berkshire yesterday. The Apsen website lists them as 2T and 4T stockists. I also called up to make sure they had 4T in stock so I didn't waste my time. The guy confirmed they had a few 5 litre cans of 4T.
So I get there and they only sell 2T. Not once have they ever sold 4T.
sorry to here about your bad experience with Winchester Garden Machinery. i know they ordered 18 cans of Aspen 4 with us on their last order but maybe thats to one of their other stores.
check out our new website in order to find a local dealer easier.
Thanks Aspenfuels for posting the find-aspen link. I've been considering Aspen 4T instead of using pump unleaded in my army stove, hopefully I'll get a bit less black smoke when priming it. Good to see a place in Pulborough doing it as I'm over there one day next week. Only concern is the cost - I like the fact that it only cost a quid to run my stove for 5 days!
Thanks for the new easy to find update on suppliers. I've been after some for a while, but couldn't find any stockists near me. Having looked on the new list, (never found the older version of suppliers) I now find that in the last few days, I have driven past at least five of them. Grrrr.
------------- Canvas tent, paraffin light, petrol stove. Heaven
I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.
I use Aspen 4T in my Coleman stoves and lanterns and I have never had any problems to date. It seems to burn hotter if anything. Found a supplier 2 miles away from me at Farnsfield Notts. Very happy with it, just wish coleman would make good replacement mantles that don't fall to bits lol
