Looking for one that is not too bulky take away on trips, and I hate those disposable ones.  I'd prefer a "proper" charcoal one, but have just bought a gas stove that runs off a 907 bottle, so that may be an option. Any advice?

We bought one of these today (first one on the page) from Caseys Outdoors for £12.99,  £5.00 for the regulator and £2.00 for tubing. We like a charcoal BBQ too but they are not allowed on most sites there. We had one of these a few years ago and sold it with our folding camper as part of a package and it was a great BBQ.

We have a sunnflair sizzler. Same as the one in the previous message. It works great and gives a smoked taste aswell. We also put a griddle plate on it for the bacon and eggs in a morning absolutely fab. We thoght about a CADAC but the mixed reviews on here and the price put us off.

Have a look at the Weber Go-Anywhere.  A bit pricey, but very good.  Takes all kinds of rough treatment (lives outside in all weathers !) but cleans up great.  As a bonus you can even roast smaller joints on it.  As far as gas ones, keep an eye out in Woolworths for their version of the more expensive Billy Oh.  We paid £21 for it and run it off the same bottle as the stove with the help of some quick disconnect couplings.

Legs fold up and clip to the base. We've used on the beach as well as in the garden and camping.
