Re the leaning it is better for the trailer to be slightly nose down than nose up. I ahve just had to fit a drop plate to my car because the trailer was nose up
Secondly, I would always go for the biggest wheels you can afford. I would avoid 8 inch wheels and go for at least 10 inch. That way it is more stable and your bearing wear will be reduced as the wheels don't have to go round so fast
