Hi Everyone...

Just thought I would warn you about bendable light sticks especially with children....they are NOT KIDDY PROOF and do break....when my son bent his one snapped and squirted in his eye luckily at home at the time but one screaming child with very sore eye continuous wash out until casualty.  The dye also goes everywhere and also stinks and stains.  Not much fun if stuck in a tent.  S

It would not stop me using them just alot more cautious put them in an empty drinks bottle with lid closed so kids cant play with them.

Scat

Its usually non toxic oil inside and the colour does wash out but having said that obviously the eyes need to be protected .

A couple of years ago one of the grandchildren bit into one and it went every where including  his  mouth.  Didn't panic as it says they aren't poisenous and luckily its true, he survived the experience, doesnt biite them any more though.   PamJ

Similar thing happened with one of our kids a while back - I think they panicked more than we did ... but once they had calmed down they had great fun scaring people in the dark with their scary 'smile'!!!

my brother in law got us some of these, apparantely during his army days some of his colleagues used to drink the stuff as a party trick & then pee out luminous urine!! not sure how true this is but sounds funny.  Glad to report no problems with our kids using them.

PS. Don't try it at home folks!!

Only my son after he's been given permission to totally slob out on a camping holiday avoiding such optional luxuries as clean clothes and soapy water!!
