Ive read lots and lots of posts on this site about how wonderful the Coleman Comfort air beds are. So i have a bit of a conundrum on my hands.

I already have a Aerobed and its the best airbed I've ever tried, the problem is it costs a lot, approximately 3 X the price of a Coleman, and i need to buy another double air bed and two singles.

My wallet is shouting to buy the Colemans, but my heart is telling me to stick to what i know. The things i love about the Aerobed are its comfort, its easy to inflate and deflate and the lack of air bed crinkle sound when turning over at night.

The only thing the Colemans don't appear to have is a built in pump and easy way to adjust how firm the bed is, both of which i can live without.

So any advice either way would be appreciated, especially if you've used both.

Thanks.

Doug.

Hello there,

we just bought these :

http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.200-8015.aspx

Used them last weekend and they were great. I know the price id quite high, we got them on special offer for £79 each at tesco but the offer has now ended. What price a good nights sleep ?

We have a double coleman comfort airbed and it is the BEST thing we have ever had - not quite as comfy as my bed at home, but as that cvost us £1500 I am not suprised!!!!    No problem with deflation, no problems at all actually!  Jackie

We still have about 6 weeks before we go away (were already counting the days), so i think I'll buy one single coleman, blow it up and compare it to the Aerobed, that way I can tell for sure if i think the Aerobed is worth the extra money or not.

Thanks for the responses so far.

Doug.

hey latest things in  we manufacture quality hand made pocket sprung mattress all with air vents hand tufted and covered with quality imported damask material
Recently we have been looking into caravan beds motor home beds and boat beds
What we will be using is a 3" pocket spring with an 2" wide border frame on it firmly clipped to the pocket sprung and this will be covered with a quality imported damask material. This will also include air vents on the side in silver for extra attraction and better sleep on.
So the total height for the pocket mattress will be less than 4" high.
Any size could be made
all this will be at a reasonable costs and very affordable

Hi,
Just had a couple of great nights sleep on the Coleman double comfort air mattress. I am really impressed with this air bed and would highly recommend it.

we have the coleman deluxe airbeds - double and single, best beds we have had, easy to inflate, quick to deflate, stay inflated...used for 2 weeks solid without need for more air, very comfortable and best of all no roll off the side onto the floor unlike previous beds we have had.  They also are quiet - previous airbeds we have had have squeaked and also felt cold...the colemans are superb, a great nights sleep.  Would definately recommend them.
