Hi,
we use oil filled radiator.
1Kw which is less than 5A, so can be used nearly anywhere.
If you like fan heaters, buy a fan heater with a switchable 1 or 2KW setting if the supply is limited, personally I don't like the noise.
Remember the Halogen heaters turn off if knocked over, but they stay hot for a while, they'll scorch or melt the tent if you're unlucky.
