That's a very old recall, Wildie, but well worth a reminder since it appears that at least one member still had the old charger.

Most similar styled chargers sold this year are ok

Checked mine this morning and mine was one for the recall, never seen the recall notice before though

Took it back and got it exchanged, the girl on the counter hadn`t heard of it before though, she asked a manager (I didn`t see him so not sure what he said) but they gave me the new type.

the only place i seem to see recall notices is on a billboard outside the shop, on a bit of A4 at the bottom, ok if you frequent these places, not great if you only go when you want somthing!

I had that model and was just browsing the site looking for a replacement for ours as it had gotten hot and over heated big time on our last trip out only notice when the lights went dim after 4 days and checked on it.

thanks wildie,I have one its going back right now.On closer inspection there are some melted marks around fuse holder.
