I have the 3 plug EHU shown in the link stressed al and was it is fine using household appliances, last weekend I used it to run a work top fridge, fan heater and light without tripping the system.
it is fine for lights, fridge etc, al was meaning appliances which use a lot of power, ie electric fires, cookers, kettles etc, most household appliances which generate heat use a lot of electricty and should be used one at a time, on lowest setting if possible, or they can easily trip site electrics.

Wouldn't be without EHU now...
We use a cheap Argos kettle at 1700W which is fine on a 10A hook up but pushing it a bit on 6A. We also have an argos toaster at 1200W and an oil filled radiator that can be set to 600W or 900W or 1500W. We never have more than 1 high power item on at once, its not hard to work it right.
We also have a table top fridge 68W and then low energy light.
I can't see the point in having a ketlle below 1KW / 1000W as even if your voltage is down to 220V it would still only take 4.5 Amps.
All info is from a data sheet my hubby did for me to see what we could safely use on EHU
.
