Read on several posts about vacuum packing stuff so it fits into the limited space.

Great idea - and at home it works. Squished down pillow, clothes etc etc brilliantly.

BUT - and its a big BUTT (I'm 200 lbs+ ) how does it work when you're packing to move on? The pump needs to fit a vacuum size hole thingy. And ours doesn't. Can you get an adapter so a standard pump fits the vacuum bag things?

What do you do?

We purchased a little vacuum thingy from Lakeland.  It was quite noisy but it sucked all the air out and stored away under the seat in our camper.  Only works of 240v though.

We use out 240v air pump with a bit of giggling without any problems to get the air out when we move on.

I have those bags that you just seal and roll the air out of. No need for a pump then

Hi Breezy,

Where do you get those 'roll the air out' bags? The only ones I can find require me to take the Vax camping with me which rather defeats the object of space-saving.
