 Hi i have a wynnster anglesey excel with inner pitch first. with sewn in ground. But fancy another tent (got the bug bad) looking at the tunnel tents and fancy the gelert lokon but it says detachable ground sheet how do this work i have two small dogs that i take camping and dont want them disapearing under the tent. june bloodfairy

I have a lokon 6 the ground sheets are just flat pieces that are pegged out inside after the tent is up, there are 4 pols going across end to end with a tape sling thing to stop them from spreading out  if you know whart i mean.  I prefer it so when we get home the tent is dry and we just take out the groundsheets to shake off the grass and dry out

The gelert lokon is a great tent. As Wilkins said the ground sheets are flat. There are mudflaps on the tent which you can tuck under the groundsheet, or even peg it down if you like.

I dont know how small your dogs are but I shouldnt think they'd be able to get out if it's all tucked down - but then I dont have a dog either....

Have a look at the Outwell Indiana this has a detachable Ground sheet but i doubt your dogs could escape. www.outwell.co.uk These are on Sale at Go Outdoors and they look really good. This is gonna be my next purchase well i've only had 3 tents this year lol
