Some disposable bbq's now come with legs folded under them to keep them off the ground. They are no dearer than those without and it saves you transporting the stand as well.

sorry hit the wrong key.....anyway.....Personally  don't think that much of disposable bbq's, the last 3-4 we've had, half the coals didn't light until about an hour after, by which time the other half had started to cool.  I bought a couple of quite large ones from Aldi's on sunday (£2.99) and it says it has its own legs.  The rate its going I might still have them next year this time.!!!!!! 

I`ve been using one of these this year. A disposable BBQ fits exactly into it so you can just throw it away afterwards. You also get the benefit of an adjustable rack too.
