I've never seen this stuff before. Might have to try it.
Just a thought - someone said they'd cut it up, does it fray or not?
No it doesn't seem to fray, although the smaller you go the less protection you seem to get. It folds down to nothing so rather than cut it up you could just fold it length ways (obviously that depends on how many strips you want).
You could try packing the catnip in jars with an oil such as olive oil, leaving to stand in a cool dark place for a few weeks and then straining it through muslim.
I can recommend this. We used arnywear last summer on a hot foreign holiday next to a river where tourists were ravaged by mozzies.
It is good and we took the arnywear everywhere - it was with us at all times. we still got some bites but not as many. we tied the small ones around necks or hair or arms and the big ones went around the waist or hung from our bags when walking, then placed over the chairs when in the restuarants next to the river, or sunbeds next to the river.
We got them 1/2 price in Boots summer sale last year.
