we have thisCadac Carri Chef BBQ-Grill Combo from Towsure and would not be without it now. We also have a two ring stove that we started out with(helps with larger meals). We take ours out on days out too! We have never had a problem cleaning it although i would recommend you have a bowl of hot soapy water ready and a tea towel (cos its hot) to lift it with. cleaning when its still hot is so easy! Cheap kitchen roll is great for mopping up the grease too! sounds like hard work but honestly, its easy when you know how!

We have a carry chef deluxe, and used it for first time this weekend, and i must admit that its the best bit of kit i have bought so far. Its brilliant.

Have used the skottel for curries. The griddle for sausages, etc. The flat grill plate for a stir fry. Even cooked eggs on the flat plate with just a spray of oil.

I have seen posts on here about cadacs being difficult to clean, and also about them not being hot enough...... all i can say is that there must be some pretty badly burnt food on offer if you cant clean the thing after cooking on it (i left mine overnight after a curry cooking session, and it came clean without any effort), and i found the heat control to be as good as any gas ring you would find in a house!!

We are thrilled with ours. We don't anticipate using the pot thingy but the grill and skottle are great. We have bought the special non stick liners and it was nothing to clean, They are heavier than I expected and the cover needs the legs velcrosed so it doesn't blow away.
