Friends of mine got out thier tent at the weekend having not used it for 12 months (it was new then!) and discovered that at each pole intersection EVERY elastic was completely shot! I have never seen this in every pole and especially in a used twice only tent. They have the big Gelert Satellite 6 DLX so you can imagine how much elastic they need!
Does anyone have any idea how this has come about? Bad packing, storing (they keep it in a waterproof plastic shed in garden ( I don't think that was an ideal place).
Also,can anyone recommend a shop/website where they can buy elastic cheap?
