A friend of mine has just bought a caravan and inside it was a Ranger power pack made by Estrasil. I think its some kind of 240V to 12V convertor but I can't quite figure out how it works or what you would use it for. Its like a white box about 20cm long on each side. It has a black 12v electric plug on one side and a white one on the other side and it has a normal indoor 240v plug coming from it. It looks like its quite old. I've tried to put a photo on but can't get it to work.
If anybody has any ideas and can solve the mystery for us then I would be very grateful.
