It's a large tent, some sites may not accept it, or not on a pitch with electrics.

Hi Chowa & welcome to the forum

I've never heard of the manufacturer before, so beware. The hydrostratic head (how much water it will take before it leaks) is only 1500 - best to go for a 2000 hh or higher if you plan to camp in England.

If you need a tent on a limited budget, it would be better to buy a second hand tent by a well known manufacturer, especially with the heavy rain & winds we're experiencing this year. Go for a second hand Vango, Wynnster, Khyam, Gelert, Coleman, Sunncamp, Royal, Outwell, Aztec or Easy Camp. You would get a good one for less than the cost of the ebay tent.

Do a search for the make on this site - if you cannot find it or problems come up then avoid like the plague.

There are lots of these tents on ebay and although some have had good results there are many more who are dissatisfied.

Don't risk your holiday for a few quid

I'm new to all this but agree with the others. The two things that have been drummed into me by experienced campers is go with a known quality brand and nothing less than a 2000 HH. You can get second hand tents fitting both these criteria for the same amount of money I imagine.

Also you might want to check this out: http://www.lebenlife.com/fulda12.htm

Considering you can get the tent new for less I wouldn't trust the seller particularly either.

Nup !

It looks cheep and flimsy and crap! You could get a really decent tent for £150!!

Hiya

We bought our sunncamp 12xp from ebay from a private seller with good feeback.Paid less than that and its an excellent tent from a well known manufacturer, havn't had any probs with it at all this year, and considering the weather conditions we've put it through its been fantastic.

As advised,go for one thats well known.

Hi there,

We have just bought a wynnster hawk 8 and took it out for a rain drenched long weekend in Wales and held out excellently. you can pick up a 2006 model for cheaper than the one you have seen if you shop around a bit

Agree totally with Iru Bru. You would be wise not to touch it.
