thanks for that, is there as good a heat from them as the halogens, also are they fairly stable, OH worried about using something that doesnt cut out if it falls over.
we have one of these and never had a problem with it falling over. we use ours in awning in the late afternoon and it lets us sit out in awning so kids can sleep in van then move it into van to stop temp droping to much during the night
I thought about an oil heater till I felt the weight of them Then I bought a skirting heater from Argos. It's lovely & we felt quite safe leaving it on all night in the bedroom pod. It's very lightweight. It sits close to the ground, so you don't have a cold spot near the floor.
We had a small one but, as Jean says, they are heavy, so we now use a convector heater which weighs next to nothing and is just as effective - and I think you'll find most of them do cut out if they're kocked over.
