Looking for some advice on a new gas cooker and stand. We have an old (Dudley) gas cooker (very heavy) and a metal stand - which we were given by the in-laws. Its prob nearly 30 years old now - so after using it for the past 10 years+ we thought maybe its time we invested in a new one!
Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations. Still want to be able to use Campinggaz on it - so I like the look of the double burner with grill one - but is it really that different to the one we have (which works) just is quite big and heavy?? Also the stands - our one is quite wobbly - so looking for one with room for the cooker and also an extra side pull up bit, and maybe with a covered larder thing also. But maybe I am changing for changing sake :)
Thanks for any advice or suggestions!!

The cook stand is great and it has loads of room for bits and bobs while you are cooking and all the cutlery is stored in pockets on the side of the larder all our dishes and pots and pans fit in the larder section it is a great bit of kit but the storage bag that came with it is rubbish
The stove does the job and all works well but the destruction book says that you can’t use the grill whilst the burners are on, they will work but the manufacturer says not to do it
Dont have that model of stove myself - but on kitchen stands there are 2 that would fit your needs, the Outwell Vancouver and I think the other is a Gelert that is fairly similar.
Got the Outwell one and it is great....2 sticky out bits for preparing food, a canvas larder underneath stove for pots n pans and a string shelf for draining bits off..... quality and ease with which it can be put up/down is really good!!!
I have that stove too and noticed the point in the instructions about not using the grill and top burners at the same time, even though it comes in a box with a photo of both being used... so I emailed the manufacturer and they emailed back to say it is fine to use both.
I will now try to hunt down that email for when someone asks to see it...
Alison.
edit to add update - I have found the email, it is from Jacky Lee, Consumer Services, Coleman UK Ltd and it says "I can confirm that you can use both the stove and the toaster at the same time. "

I have the same stove and stand as force ten. the only problem is the shelves in the pantry tends to bend as they are only thin hardboard. it is easily fixed by changing them to mdf
I see that you are in Warwick, have you tried tamworth camping on plantation lane B78 3DG, they have a great range of equipment and also a very knowledgeable gaffer.

Argos has a sale on at the moment. The camp kitchen is reduced from £39.99 to £24.99 and the concertina kitchen stand is reduced from £24.99 to £14.99, though the price doesn't seem to be changed online.
We have the same as force ten , but badged as Royal,
If you don't want to use the pantry/side table you can leave it folded , If you want two pantries there is a version like that as well !!
I would not feel safe boiling a large pan of water on the concertina type of stand , all the ones I looked at seemed a little wobbly.
We bought the concertina stand from Aldi to put our Camping Chef on. I thought it seemed wobbly but there are 'stays' that fit on the back to stabilise it. We also pegged it down while using it and it's fine, solid as a rock! As the whole thing is metal the shelves don't bend and there's plenty of space for pots, food, etc. What I really liked was the windbreak around the cooker, stops all the heat going elsewhere
------------- Life is what happens when you've made other plans
We have the Sunnflair and it's very sturdy and has a nice height to it, my hubby is 6'1" and doesn't have to stoop over. There is enough space to put our double burner and a square tabletop bbq or you can use the space beside your stove as a prep area. There is a nice shelf underneath, we put our fresh water jugs on them along with our cookware. There is also hooks on both ends to hang utensils or whatever and it folds flat and comes with a carry case.
We really like it and it was a good buy at 29 pounds
The larder type, watch out how it goes together mine has small hooks to hang it and is a pain so I have put small carabiners on much easier and the shelves need either replacing with MDF or strengthening. Still much better than what I had before.
