on the decathalon tarp there is a guy right in the centre. its made out of two pices of fabric stitched down the centre and the guy, on a triangle piece is is in the middle.only eye lets on the four corners though.i was going to leave this wrapped up. but it did come in handy when the wind picked up as it stopped the front from lifting.i can though see where it chaffed againts the fabric. you may just be able to see it in my gallery

something to do with my old royal rimini 6 other than take it down the dump, thanks for the tip.
Absolutely, it was so straight forward and we've ended up with something with proper sewn in guying points, that is waterproof and breathes in the heat. We made a tarp shelter last year to provide shade but it was so blooming hot underneath it I struggled to stay in the shade!!
I can't bear to bin old stuff anyway, you can always find a use for it if you try!
Hi piglet , I've given up trying to buy a tailor made tarp, and have just made my own Ive just put it up on the back lawn and it's 3 metres square , but the guys have to be well away from the centre to make it viable, it takes up that much room when you add the guys it'll take up the pitches either side of me. What i have done is to put in a pole at each corner to keep the tarp it's height at the sides and brought the guys closer to the centre . Looks like thats going to do the trick and it looks great too
