Just came back from France where we hired a friudge from the site.  Only problem was that the adapter I had did not fit the plug on the fridge.

Any ideas for an adaptor

Not sure I understand. If you hired the fridge in France why would it need a plug adaptor?

The fridge will have a french 2 pin plug on it that wont fit into the 3 pin socket of a UK EHU.

We have hired fridges in the past and always been given an adaptor by the site.

we had the same trouble with the adapter, transformer went on cool box so bought one in France. Couldnt fing French to UK adapter socket anywhere in france ( thought they may buy them for their Uk hols??) Found one in matalan of all places recently
