We have used our Delta pegs on our last two trips, (which have both been REALLY windy ) they are fantastic,do not move at all, Just wish we had them on Whitsun Bank Hol.

What you need to invent now ( if you haven't already!) is a peg puller with a mud scraper designed for the shape of the Delta peg, that would be brill!!

Yeah, a longer handled one would be fantastic!

( even though I am not a 'poor old boy') !!!

Actually they remind me of a very much smaller variation of a type of ground anchor used by off-roaders in recovering/winching out stuck vehicles - where you really need something that's going to stay put and not be pulled out of the ground in use.

Well, we used to make a larger version for use with marquees and off-roading. This was when we first started and although they were tested to 1600 Kg (good enough for marquees) they could have been developed a little further for off-roading.

We have had 500mm peg pullers on eBay before but they don't seem to sell. If anybody  wants a longer puller, just ask. For a few extra pennies I'll oblige.

AAhh! The penny drops! So now I know. Actually I think I recall several being used in conjunction with each other maybe?

Frank - I used to read the regular updates on your projects (the lifted Rangey, and the 6 wheel Landy were yours weren't they?) in - was it 4x4 Magazine? sorry can't recall for certain which mag it was as I used to get several and it was a long time ago - I've long-since broken my LandRover addiction (still get pangs occasionally if a tasty one pases by)!
