Hi all,
I've been researching camping recipes on net (I know, it'll probably still just be camping stew & bbq!) and found some suggestions for cooking breakfast/eggs in zip lok bags dropped into boiling water! Sounds like it has the potential for being very messy but i like the idea of scrambled-type eggs without battling to clean my lightweight (non-non-stick) saucepan!
I found some Baco Zip 'n' Seal bags in my kitchen drawer, do you think these are the same? It says they are extra thick, heavy duty and I was wondering if they would do the job. Not sure if the recipes came from an American website & whether their sort of zip lok bags are different to ours?!
If anyone has tried this or knows if they are the right bags, could they let me know to help avoid a nasty mess in Poole next week!
Thanks, sam.
