Hi we just recently sold our old Conquest 400 to a friend as we had changed our needs and gone for a very different kind of middle sized tent (a Vaude Opera).
I know what you mean about the Freelander - the bedroom seems a bit pokey to me in comparison to the Conquest bedrooms.
I would suggest you look at 4 berth tunnel tents, like the Coleman Columbus 400 - good specs, full SIG, manageable for solo putting up and some nice features like a big vent right across the back, and better living space than the Freelander.
