Well i've just got back (yesterday) from our first faminly trip in Newquay, weather was ok for most part but sunday night/monday morning was non stop rain and the wife insisted we cut the trip short as the pitch had turned into a mud bath and you could feel the puddles underneath the groundsheet. Anyway i'm now gutted i didn't get a footprint together before i went so now this is my priority. I've got a Wild Country halo 104, where is the best place to get a footprint? or where can i get a tarpaulin big enough to make my own?

Wow, that's quite a tent. You could do with those parachutes off the NASA shuttle!!

7.0m x 7.4 Metres (23' x 24') !   (or 10m2 internal area)

Someone might know of a footprint.

Failing that, how about 5 lots of 3.0 x 3.0 B&Q ones to cover each pod and the central area?

World of camping do tough groundsheets up to 16'x13' (not quite the full template you'd need). So, you may have to resort to 2 or more overlapping sheets, not really convenient, but cheap.

-------------

Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler.

Cheers John,

Might get two from world of camping and just duck tape them together, seems the best idea so far!
