Hi I am also perplexed at what ariel will work with a 12v/240v digi/freeview portable tv from Maplins.
Have tried most sorts of indoor/outdoor to no avail, can't get a signal at all.
I think that's why everyone was taking them back to the shop, as mine was a reduced return.
I did go on a meet with someone in a romahome who had the same tv and it worked fine but forgot to ask him about his ariel. If you are reading this please reply.
